This past weekend was the annual Open House Dublin, where many buildings of historical and architectural interest are opened up for public viewing and guided tours. One of my favourite attractions for this Open House weekend is the muse at No. 31 Leeson Close, which renowned Irish Architect Sam Stephenson designed as his first home in 1958. It is now a guest house run by the very friendly new owners.
I only took detail photos unfortunately, as there were so many people around.
The Libeskind creation in the Grand Canal Dock, Dublin. This is no. 4 of a series of 5 images of the building. I was looking through the glass at the letters, which full the lobby wall in the neighbouring building, and the Theatre’s façade was reflecting in the glass.
